| Quantum physics and modern
medicine have demonstrated that your body does not stop at the skin.
You are surrounded by an energy field, sometimes called an aura, which
connects your body to the physical and energetic environment around you.
When disruptions occur in this outer energy body, corresponding problems can
develop in your physical body as well. Likewise, when you suffer trauma or
stress to your physical body, your energy field is also disturbed.
Energy therapy helps to establish and maintain a flow of vital energy to all parts of your body for physical health. This can often speed recuperation and provide a non-chemical source of pain management. Since this energy also connects with your mental and emotional aspects, energy therapy is also extremely useful in relieving stress and releasing old habits and thinking patterns. Various types of energy specialties are described on the following pages. These and others may be used separately or together to best serve the needs and preferences of the client. |
Maureen Gamble is the first energy
therapist in Kansas to become a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and

She is also a Certified Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition and is trained in Pranic Healing, Spirit Releasement Therapy and several other specialties. In addition to various energy disciplines, Maureen is also certified in clinical Aromatherapy through the Institute of Aromatic Therapists in England and occasionally offers workshops on this fascinating modality. In her "spare" time, Maureen lectures at a local University, does computer software consulting and enjoys breeding, training and showing Labrador Retrievers. |
| Currently taught and certified through Healing Touch International, this unique program incorporates a wide variety of healing interventions developed by doctors, nurses, researchers and practitioners around the world.
